How to Use?

Dry Flowers: Put flower drying silica gel beads in to air tight container, place fresh flowers over the desiccant and seal, wait for 2-3 days. Check flowers are dry, if not dry enough, reactivate silica gel and repeat the process.

Protect Other products & Devices: Use a mesh bag, cloth bag or small plastic bottle (with holes on the lid) to hold silica gel, place your items and desiccant beads in a tightly sealed container to protect your items from moisture damage; you can use silica gel to protect 3D Filaments, Safes, Guns, Ammos, Canister, Collectables, Jewelry, Documents, Camera Lens, Clothes, Cosmetics, Books, Bags, Decorations, Wet phones, Cameras, Watches, Electronics, Shoes, and Many Other Valuables. What is the deferent between Blue & White Silica Gel?

White/transparent type silica gel is a non-indicating desiccant, mostly used in one time use applications, such as those small packets you find when you buy some products, but you can reuse, only deferent they don’t change color/indicate when absorb moisture. Blue Indicating silica gel has cobalt chloride, which allows the blue desiccant change its color to purplish pink when it reached its maximized adsorption capacity. White silica gel is food safe, blue silica gel is NOT food safe.

Hot to Reuse Silica Gel (Reactivation):

Warning: If overheat (oven or Full power microwave oven), desiccant beads will crack/Snap and lose the ability to hold moisture.

Blue silica gel can be "reactivated" by baking in the oven and using lowest power settings in the microwave. I also bought some of the little humidity indicator cards so I can monitor the humidity in my containers.

1. Oven: Place in the conventional oven (electric) for 0.5 to 2 hours at 70-90 Celsius (DO NOT exceed 100 Celsius).
2. Oven; Depending on the beads' condition, they may take shorter than the recommended time; Please check the beads' color periodically.
3. Microwave: Microwave for about 7 to 12 minutes at lowest heat mode, avoid overheating, best to microwave 3-4 mins, 1-2 minutes break and repeat couple of times.
4. Sun Dry: Place desiccant beads evenly spread on a large tray, place it on the direct sunlight. Sundry may NOT dry silica gel 100%, for flower drying, idea to use oven meathod.

Heath & Safety: Blue Beads contain less than 0.3% Cobalt Chloride which may pose health risk if ingested in large quantities; Do not use for food or medication.
